AIR COMPRESSOR CHECK VALVES FOR AIR COMPRESSORS

AIR COMPRESSOR CHECK VALVES FOR AIR COMPRESSORS are designed for air to flow in one direction. If your AIR COMPRESSOR CHECK VALVE is leaking, you will hear air coming from around the air pressure switch or other areas of the pump when the air compressor has stopped running. The AIR COMPRESSOR CHECK VALVE is necessary to allow air to enter the tank and prevent it from escaping from the tank after the pump has shut off. Air should only flow in one direction through the valve, into the tank. Many times people think there is something wrong with their pressure switch when they hear air spewing from the unloader continuously after the motor has shut off. The unloader on the pressure switch is designed to open after the motor stops to "unload" the air in the transfer lines and pump so that the pump will not struggle to start against a pressure the next time it starts up. If you continuously hear air spewing from your unloader after the motor shuts off, then your AIR COMPRESSOR CHECK VALVE valve is most likely the problem, not the unloader or pressure switch.

WARNING!!!!

Make sure all air pressure has been removed from the air tank before removing any air lines or removing any components from the tank, SUCH AS BUT NOT LIMITED TO AIR COMPRESSOR CHECK VALVE, pressure relief valves, drain valves, etc.

Make sure you are buying the AIR COMPRESSOR CHECK VALVE that is suited for your air compressor. See your owners manual or parts listing for the proper AIR COMPRESSOR CHECK VALVE to use for your air compressor.
